The team added that Lewis will go for imaging on his hamstring Monday to determine the severity of his injury, according to Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
The 25-year-old has only played in 140 games over the last two seasons due to strains in his quad, adductor, oblique, and hamstring. He also tore his ACL for a second time in June 2022.
Lewis has been productive when on the field, hitting a combined 33 homers with 104 RBIs and an .825 OPS over 152 contests.
Minnesota took Lewis with the No. 1 pick in the 2017 draft.
