The Royals announced postgame that the team is waiting for test results to determine the extent of India's injury.
"Believe it's non-concussive, but we're waiting on some imaging, and he will be evaluated further over the next few days," a team spokesperson said, according to Anne Rogers of MLB.com.
India was playing in only his third game with the Royals following an offseason trade from the Cincinnati Reds.
