Trout sidelined again: Three-time MVP Mike Trout is on the IL once again, this time with a bone bruise in his knee. The slumping Angels (4-15 in their past 19) are optimistic it won't be a long-term absence but only time will tell given Trout's extensive injury history. Read more ...

They said what? 🗣️

Pirates ace Paul Skenes believes he'll have long career with high velocity: "Nobody in the big leagues has my stuff. We're writing our own book. Because I've tried it the other way. It doesn't work. It's my game out there. There is no model for me."

Geraldo Perdomo's got ice in his veins after helping the D-Backs beat the Mets: "My blood is like a frog ... cold."

Yankees manager Aaron Boone doesn't think Aaron Judge's gotten hot yet: "I'm not being cute or funny, I don't think he's really been that hot yet. ... When he gets really going and starts hitting balls in the seats routinely, buckle up."

Royals left-hander Noah Cameron had to pinch himself after flirting with a no-hitter in his MLB debut: "You can't put it into words. It's something I've always dreamed about, especially with this team. And it's just crazy."
