Judge took 1,130 games to reach the mark, while DiMaggio needed 1,736 contests.
The 33-year-old also set an MLB record with his 19th first-inning homer of the year, breaking a tie with Alex Rodriguez from 2001.
Judge's homer was No. 47 this season. He's three long balls away from reaching the 50-homer plateau for the fourth time in his 10-year career.
The two-time AL MVP has hit the most round-trippers by a right-handed batter in Yankees history.
Judge only trails Lou Gehrig (493), Mickey Mantle (536), and Babe Ruth (659) on New York's all-time list.
