The Seattle Mariners won't have All-Star right-hander Bryan Woo on their ALDS roster against the Detroit Tigers.
Woo has been sidelined over the last two weeks due to a pectoral inflammation after leaving his Sept. 19 start against the Houston Astros because of the injury.
The 25-year-old posted a 2.94 ERA with 0.93 WHIP and 198 strikeouts over a career-high 186 2/3 innings (30 starts) during the regular season to help the Mariners win their first AL West crown since 2001.
Seattle will roll out right-hander George Kirby for Saturday's Game 1 and right-hander Luis Castillo for Game 2 on Sunday.
