The Arizona Diamondbacks and first baseman Carlos Santana agreed to a contract, sources told Ken Rosenthal and Will Sammon of The Athletic.
The pact is for one year and worth approximately $2 million, reports 98.7 FM's John Gambadoro.
Santana, who turns 40 years old in April, will be suiting up for his 17th season in 2026 with his ninth different team.
He went deep 11 times with 54 RBIs and a .633 OPS over 124 games between the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago Cubs last year. The former All-Star is just one season removed from a 23-homer, 71-RBI campaign that saw him win his first career Gold Glove with the Minnesota Twins in 2024.
