MLB to honor Oscar Taveras before Game 6 of the World Series

Major League Baseball will hold a moment of silence in honor of the late Oscar Taveras and his girlfriend prior to Tuesday's Game 6 of the World Series.

Taveras, 22, and Edilia Arvelo, 18, were killed in a car crash Sunday night in the Dominican Republic. Members of the St. Louis Cardinals traveled to the Caribbean region Monday ahead of a private service and burial scheduled for Tuesday.

Kansas City Royals rookie Yordano Ventura said he will pay tribute to his close friend by dedicating his Game 6 start to Taveras.
