Felix is King, Cruz replaces windshields in Mariners promos
The Seattle Mariners aggressively overhauled their 25-man roster this winter, and it appears their marketing department received some upgrades as well.
On Wednesday, the club released four highly anticipated television promos for the 2016 campaign.
In one ad, longtime staff ace Felix Hernandez, known affectionately as "King Felix," plays up his regal persona, holding court, so to speak, with some subjects in the Mariners' clubhouse:
"Do you own a dragon?"@realkingfelix's new teammates are excited to learn more about the life of a King.https://t.co/6sSLufCL3r

In another promo, Nelson Cruz - who's bashed more homers over the last two seasons than every other player in baseball - plays an enthusiastic windshield repairman wisely stationed out behind the left-field seats:
A @ncboomstick23 long ball can do some serious damage. Thankfully, his new business is here to help.https://t.co/OpLIiv3WFM

When six-time All-Star Robinson Cano peers into a clubhouse mirror in another ad, he sees one of the most talented hitters in Mariners history peering back at him, naturally:
.@RobinsonCano might remind you of another great Mariners hitter.https://t.co/TJznjxblYN

And, finally, third baseman Kyle Seager gets an aggressive re-brand in the Mariners' fourth promo, more than a year after signing a seven-year, $100-million contract extension with Seattle:
