The Houston Dynamo selected Hofstra midfielder Joe Holland with the 10th overall pick in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft after moving down and acquiring the pick in a trade with New York City FC.
Holland, an English midfielder, was a late invite to the combine and joins the Dynamo having made 79 appearances in college, scoring 19 goals and recording 28 assists.
He will count as an international in the Dynamo ranks and will need to compete with Alex, Eric Alexander, Collen Warner, Juan Cabezas, Ricardo Clark and Christian Lucatero, in Wilmer Cabrera's midfield.
