The 13-time winners of Mexico's top tier announced the move Saturday, adding that the El Tri international will wear the No. 10 strip - the same jersey his father Zizinho sported with the capital city club in the 1980s.
The former Barcelona player joins Ruben Gonzalez as America's second signing of the summer ahead of the 2019-20 Apertura campaign, which kicks off July 20 against Dos Santos' hometown Monterrey.
