Montreal Impact fire manager Frank Klopas, appoint Mauro Biello as interim replacement
Following Saturday's 2-1 loss to rival Toronto FC at BMO Field, the Montreal Impact announced Sunday that they have sacked manager Frank Klopas.
The club named Montreal native and former Canadian international Mauro Biello its interim manager, with the Impact sitting one point behind Orlando City FC for the Eastern Conference's final playoff position.

The Impact have four games in hand on Orlando City, and despite Saturday's disappointing loss to Toronto FC, hope is that the man who's spent six years as a member of Montreal's coaching staff can guide the club into the postseason.
This is Biello's second time performing the duties of caretaker manager, as he filled in for the club in 2012 following the dismissal of Jesse Marsch.
