Vancouver Whitecaps unveil nature-inspired away kit
With the MLS season a little more than a month away and preseason training in full swing, the Vancouver Whitecaps released images of their 2016 away kit Monday.
Influenced by the Canadian city's famed oceanic stretch and backdrop of sprawling mountain vistas, the club provided an infographic detailing the kit's nuances.

"The Sea to Sky jersey translates geography into gradient. Beginning with the dark Pacific water, deep-sea blue ripples up the kit, creating a brilliant blend of new blues before eventually transforming into sky blue, replicating the city's Sea to Sky horizon," an incredibly specific statement on the club's website read.
But what about the washing instructions?
The Whitecaps kick off their season March 6 when they host the Montreal Impact at BC Place on the heels of last season's third overall finish and CONCACAF Champions League berth.
