Nate Diaz says he's now 'on vacation'
It looks like Nate Diaz is backing up his promise to take a vacation if he isn't fighting Conor McGregor at UFC 200.
At least, that's what the Stockton, Calif. native tweeted Monday, as McGregor and UFC brass have been unable to work out a deal to get "The Notorious One" back on the July 9 megacard.
Happy to announce that I'm going on vacation #gone #100 ✌🏼️

The UFC 200 main event was put on hold due to McGregor's refusal to break his camp in Iceland to attend a promotional press conference. Rumors have been swirling since about who Diaz will fight instead, but nothing's been announced. Diaz, who did attend the presser, said he only wants McGregor.
"I came to fight Conor McGregor. I don't really have too much interest in anybody else or interest in fighting at all," Diaz said Friday at the Vegas press conference. "That's what he wanted and I'm down for whatever. Like I said, I'm going to come here to fight, if we're going to get that fight going. If not, I'm going on vacation for real.
"I didn't ask for that fight but he asked for it, he wanted it. If that ain't happening, I'm going on vacation."
McGregor tweeted Sunday evening that he was back on the card before UFC president Dana White quickly refuted the claim. It remains unclear what the final card will look like.
