Conor McGregor isn't the only UFC fighter that Floyd Mayweather has his eyes on.
While Mayweather continues to fan the flames of a boxing/MMA/tiddlywinks match with McGregor, he's also interested in joining forces with interim UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
Mayweather told TMZ Sports that he's been a longtime supporter of Jones and he plans to meet with him face to face soon to discuss business.
"Jon Jones, I'll be seeing you in a couple of weeks in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in training camp," Mayweather said. "You know I stand behind you Jon Jones. When you went through a little roller coaster ride everyone turned their back on you. We're still here for you."
Mayweather himself is no stranger to controversy with a history peppered with domestic violence charges. That ability to bounce back from bad publicity to find even greater prosperity might make Mayweather a perfect partner for Jones.
"Of course," Mayweather said. "There couldn't be a better team than the 'Money Team'."
