Rountree scores 52-second KO, Price comes back to punch out Morono at UFC Houston
Light Heavyweight Bout: Khalil Rountree def. Daniel Jolly via 1st-round KO
Khalil Rountree needed under a minute to score his first UFC victory - and save his job.
The "TUF 23" finalist fought off a takedown attempt before cracking Daniel Jolly with a pair of knees for the stoppage just 52 seconds into Saturday's opening bout at UFC Fight Night 104 in Houston. The 26-year-old was on thin ice heading into the tilt after dropping both of his previous UFC contests, but the flash knockout will likely keep his roster spot secure for the foreseeable future.

Jolly - fighting for the first time in 532 days - now finds himself too close to the chopping block for comfort, as he's been finished in each of his two trips to the Octagon.
Welterweight Bout: Niko Price def. Alex Morono via 2nd-round KO
Alex Morono was happy to stand and trade with Niko Price, and that proved to be his undoing.
After being staggered twice in the opening round, the 27-year-old Price managed to figure out Morono's tricky movement in the second and finish him with a precision combination of punches at the end of Round 2.

Price improved his professional record to a perfect 10-0, with neither of his two UFC opponents making it to the final bell. His Octagon debut took place just 37 days ago at UFC 207 in December, a first-round submission win over Brandon Thatch.
The early goings of the match went poorly for Price as he was wobbled by a counter left hook from Morono:

Morono would drop Price again with a spinning backfist followed by a right hook, but the first round ended before he could pounce on Price and press the advantage.
Clearly down on the scorecards, Price cranked up the aggression in the second round. He absorbed shots to close the distance, leading up to the ending flurry that left Morono crumpled against the cage.
Morono was finished for the first time since June 13, 2014. He falls to 2-1 in the UFC and 13-3 overall as a pro.
