UFC president Dana White anticipates meeting with a representative for boxer Floyd Mayweather next week as the two sides inch closer to a proposed superfight between Mayweather and UFC champion Conor McGregor, ESPN's Brett Okamoto reports.
McGregor and White have reportedly come to terms on their side of the fight and the former has applied for a boxing license, but it's Mayweather who will be the determining factor for whether the two stars of different sports ever square off.
White and Mayweather's adviser Al Haymon have been in contact "for months," White told Okamoto. The two are said to have a good working relationship.
