Khabib Nurmagomedov isn't interested in a rematch with Conor McGregor, and no amount of money is changing his mind.

Nurmagomedov's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, told TMZ recently that people in Saudi Arabia offered his client $100 million to host a second bout against the Irishman.

But the UFC lightweight champion shot down the idea Tuesday, questioning the logic of such an unprecedented offer.

"Why do I need that kind of money?" Nurmagomedov said, according to RT Sport. "There are so many organizations for example, there's not only football for the blind, there's sambo and other sports. Let (the UFC) give it to them, if they don’t know what to do with the money. But giving me $100 million for me to beat up that idiot again? I don't think that's rational."

UFC president Dana White has consistently said that McGregor-Nurmagomedov II will happen. The first fight between the two was the highest-selling pay-per-view in the company's history, and a rematch would likely challenge that record.

But after recording a dominant submission win over McGregor in October 2018, the undefeated Nurmagomedov has been unwavering while believing his former opponent must earn a second fight.

McGregor has beaten only Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone via TKO in January since losing to Nurmagomedov. The 155-pound king believes only money is driving the desire for a rematch.

"I'm surprised that people even question me about a rematch. It seems that people want to continue the festivities after that fight," Nurmagomedov said. "Everyone saw what happened in the Octagon. I controlled the fight every step of the way. I did everything I wanted to him. He even gave up. How can we even discuss a rematch? We can only talk about continuing the festivities and making money. The question is: Do I want that? I am focused on Tony Ferguson."

Nurmagomedov will clash with Ferguson on April 18 in what's widely viewed as the best matchup of 2020. The two lightweights, who haven't fought despite being scheduled to square off four times, have each won their last 12 bouts inside the Octagon.

Nurmagomedov is staying focused on taking down Ferguson, regardless of what White is planning.

"(I have) a very serious fight. For the past month and a half, I've been consistently training day and night," he said. "I've gotten myself in good shape, to where I'm supposed to be 70 days before a fight. I feel great. What will happen after a fight no one knows."
