Kayla Harrison will have a new opponent in the PFL 6 main event on July 1.
Kaitlin Young will replace Julia Budd in the matchup against Harrison due to Budd pulling out with an undisclosed injury, sources told Marc Raimondi of ESPN.
The original matchup featuring Harrison, the reigning women's lightweight champion, and Budd, a former Bellator women's featherweight, was a highly anticipated contest before the swap.
Harrison is currently undefeated with a mark of 13-0, while Young holds a 12-12-1 career record in mixed martial arts.
Harrison and Budd are among four fighters who share the second spot in the PFL women's lightweight division with three points.
