Eblen dethrones Mousasi to capture middleweight title at Bellator 282

Johnny Eblen defeated Gegard Mousasi by unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) to win the middleweight title in the main event at Bellator 282.
Eblen set the tone in the first round with a few devastating blows, though Mousasi was able to recover. Eblen continued to dominate throughout the five-round contest en route to the convincing win.
Nicknamed "The Human Cheat Code," Eblen's latest victory extends his undefeated streak to 12-0 in mixed martial arts.
Mousasi had won his previous four fights entering Friday. The veteran's defeat was his first since falling to Rafael Lovato Jr. at Bellator 223 in June 2019.
