UFC cancels main event at last minute with Krylov ill
Saturday's UFC Fight Night card lost its main event at the 11th hour.
Nikita Krylov was pulled from his light heavyweight bout against Ryan Spann after he got food poisoning, the UFC announced on the broadcast at the start of the main card.
Krylov showed up at Las Vegas' UFC Apex - where the event was held - but was ruled unable to compete.
The original co-main event between middleweights Andre Muniz and Brendan Allen served as the new headliner, with Allen pulling off a third-round submission win. Allen and Muniz had never competed in a UFC main event before.

Krylov and Spann are both rising contenders at 205 pounds and were looking to enter the title mix with a victory Saturday.
Krylov earned a decision over Volkan Oezdemir and a first-round TKO of Alexander Gustafsson in 2022 after falling short to Paul Craig earlier in the year. Meanwhile, Spann is coming off back-to-back finishes against Dominick Reyes and Ion Cutelaba.
UFC Fight Night lost two other bouts earlier in the week and ended up with 10 in total.
