Zack Snyder to direct UFC movie 'Brawler'
Filmmaker Zack Snyder has partnered with the UFC to direct a new movie called "Brawler," he announced Monday.
The film will follow a young fighter from Los Angeles aiming to get a shot at a UFC Championship, per the press release. Cast members and the release date have not yet been announced.
"Behind every great fighter is the story of how they got there," Snyder said in a statement. "UFC is the world leader in combat sports, and I'm honored to be partnering with them to tell this incredible story."
Snyder has directed numerous blockbuster movies, including "300" and "Dawn of the Dead." He's most known for his superhero and comic book films, including "Watchmen," "Man of Steel," "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," and "Justice League," which famously received a director's cut release in 2021, four years after it initially premiered.
