Jones-Miocic set for UFC 295 at MSG in November
Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic will meet in a blockbuster heavyweight title fight in the main event of UFC 295, Dana White announced Friday.
The bout will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 11.
Jones brings a stellar 27-1 (1 NC) MMA record to the matchup. The 35-year-old's most recent victory came against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 in March, capturing the vacant heavyweight title via guillotine choke submission in the first round.
Miocic hasn't fought since UFC 260 in 2021, where he lost to Francis Ngannou by KO/TKO. The 40-year-old owns a 20-4 record.
Jones plans to retire after fighting Miocic barring a future bout against Ngannou, the heavyweight champion said in May.
UFC 295 will celebrate 30 years of the promotion. It was created Nov. 12, 1993.
