Report: Evloev vs. Sterling scheduled for UFC 307
A fight featuring featherweight contenders Aljamain Sterling and Movsar Evloev is expected to take place at UFC 307 in Salt Lake City on Oct. 5, sources told MMA Junkie's Nolan King.
Sterling, the former UFC bantamweight champion, made his featherweight debut in April at UFC 300 and beat Calvin Kattar. He's currently the eighth-ranked fighter in the division.
Evloev is the No. 5 featherweight and has won each of his eight bouts since his UFC debut in 2019. The 30-year-old most recently earned a unanimous decision win over Arnold Allen in January.
Sterling confirmed Friday that he'll fight at UFC 307.
At UFC 307, I’m taking that man’s 0! 💯
