Yan, Figueiredo to headline UFC Macau in November

A bantamweight fight between Petr Yan and Deiveson Figueiredo is set for UFC Macau on Nov. 23 in China, the promotion announced Wednesday.
Yan is the No. 3 bantamweight and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Song Yadong at UFC 299 in March, snapping a three-fight losing streak. It was his only appearance of 2024, as the former UFC champion underwent surgery after sustaining a torn ACL, torn meniscus, and groin injury in the fight.
Figueiredo - the fifth-ranked in the division - won his first three bouts as a bantamweight, most recently defeating Marlon Vera by unanimous decision in August. The former UFC flyweight champ called for a bantamweight title shot after the victory.
