Blachowicz-Ulberg booked for UFC London card
A light heavyweight matchup between Jan Blachowicz and Carlos Ulberg is slated to take place on the UFC London card on March 22, the promotion announced Tuesday.
The matchup, scheduled to take place in the O2 Arena, will be Blachowicz's first fight since July 2023. Alex Pereira defeated him via split decision in that bout. A contest against Aleksandar Rakic for January 2024 was also called off after Blachowicz had to pull out for shoulder surgery.
Blachowicz is a former holder of the UFC light heavyweight title, which he defended once against Israel Adesanya before dropping it in his next fight versus Glover Teixeira.
Meanwhile, Ulberg is riding a seven-fight winning streak coming into the contest. He hasn't lost a UFC fight since March 2021.
A heavyweight meeting with Marcin Tybura and Mick Parkin was also added to the UFC London card.
