2025 PFL tournament results: Jackson chokes Koreshkov unconscious
The 2025 PFL World Tournament kicked off Thursday night at Universal Studios in Orlando, featuring the opening-round matchups in the welterweight and featherweight divisions.
In the main event, former Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson submitted Andrey Koreshkov to advance to the semifinals. Jackson put Koreshkov to sleep with a rear-naked choke at the 4:21 mark of the second round. Tap here to watch the finish.
Jackson will face Thad Jean in June with a spot in the 170-pound final on the line.
In the co-main event, 2023 PFL featherweight champ Jesus Pinedo finished Adam Borics with strikes in the first round, handing the former Bellator title challenger his first TKO defeat. Tap here to watch the finish.
Pinedo advanced to the 145-pound semifinals, where he'll take on Gabriel Braga for the third time.
In other main-card action, Logan Storley cruised past Joseph Luciano at welterweight and 2021 PFL featherweight titleholder Movlid Khaybulaev rallied to defeat Jeremy Kennedy by split decision.
Storley is scheduled to meet Masayuki Kikuiri and Khaybulaev will battle Tae Kyun Kim in the semifinals.
