The UFC took to Twitter on Thursday to officially announce a bout between former middleweight champion Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall for UFC 198:
Silva's trainer Rogerio Camoes previously discussed the possibility of "The Spider" fighting at the May 14 event, which takes place in Silva's hometown of Curitiba, Brazil.
The booking represents a quick turnaround for Silva who has been relatively inactive for the past few years due to injury and a drug suspension. He lost a unanimous decision to Michael Bisping in February and has not recorded an official win since October 2012.
Hall is also looking to get back on the winning track after dropping a unanimous decision to Robert Whittaker in November. He owns a 5-4 record in the UFC and currently sits at No. 10 in the official rankings.
