NBA Game Summary - Sacramento at Toronto
Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Lou Williams netted 27 points off the bench and the Toronto Raptors defeated the Sacramento Kings 119-102 on Wednesday night.
Greivis Vasquez posted 18 points and six assists, Jonas Valanciunas provided 15 points and nine rebounds and Kyle Lowry added 13 points and seven assists for Toronto, which has won four straight games.
The Raptors had seven players reach double figures in scoring.
"That's what it's all about. Not individuals. Team," Toronto coach Dwane Casey said.
Rudy Gay had 22 points, while Ben McLemore supplied 17 points and five boards for the Kings, who have dropped seven straight games.
Sacramento held a 66-64 edge prior to the midway point of the third quarter before the Raptors erupted on a 26-6 extended run to turn the game into a rout.
Valanciunas netted seven points during the surge before Lowry and Williams nailed consecutive 3-pointers to cap it and stake Toronto to a commanding 90-72 advantage late in the frame. The Raptors knocked down five triples during the burst.
"It was too much to overcome," Sacramento coach Tyrone Corbin said of the third-quarter surge.
Terrence Ross potted a trey at the buzzer to give Toronto a 93-76 margin heading into the fourth, where they cruised to the easy victory, leading by as many as 22.
Earlier, Toronto led 26-22 following a quarter of play, but the game was knotted at 54-54 going into the break.
