NBA Game Summary - Oklahoma City at Dallas

Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Chandler Parsons scored 31 points on 10-of-14 shooting and the Dallas Mavericks outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-115 in a playoff-like atmosphere on Tuesday.

The Mavs went down by 15 early in the second half but rallied for their third win in four games behind Parsons and several key contributors.

Monta Ellis added 24 points, and Dirk Nowitzki broke out of a mini slump with 22 after not scoring more than 14 in six games this month. Rajon Rondo checked in with 11 points and 13 assists for the victors.

"You get down 15 in the third, and it's easy to hang your head. But we didn't do it. We kept fighting," Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle said.

Three Thunder players recorded double-doubles. Russell Westbrook finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds before fouling out. He fell two rebounds shy of his seventh triple-double in 10 games and committed seven of the team's 21 turnovers.

Enes Kanter donated 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Mitch McGary totaled 12 and 13 for a frontcourt that was missing Serge Ibaka (knee) but won the rebounding battle 59-37.

After Westbrook hit a fadeaway to even things at 108-108 down the stretch, Tyson Chandler grabbed a big offensive rebound and was fouled. The career 64.6 percent free throw shooter made both at the line with 1:32 remaining, then denied a putback by Kanter on the defensive end.

Parsons drove inside for a quick bucket, and after being whistled for a charge, Westbrook committed his sixth foul on the ensuing inbounds pass.

Dallas went 5-of-6 from the foul line over the final 31.3 seconds to seal the win.

There was a 24-point swing in the first half alone. The Mavericks raced out to a 22-12 lead before missing 11-of-12 shots over the final five minutes of the opening quarter.

A Westbrook 3-pointer gave the Thunder their first lead at 27-25, and Oklahoma City's cushion margin grew to 14 before a free throw a Rondo 3-pointer pulled the Mavs within 63-53 at halftime.

The seesaw battle continued in the third quarter, and a Parsons 3-pointer -- one of five hit by Dallas in the frame -- evened things at 92-92 heading into the fourth.

"The end of the third quarter gave them momentum," Thunder head coach Scott Brooks said. "We just have to be better."
