Jazz fans hoping to rent billboard to pitch pending free agent Hayward
Billboards haven't exactly been the most effective measure in preventing free agents from leaving for greener pastures, but that won't stop one group of hopeful Jazz fans.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up with the hope of raising $5,000 to rent a billboard between the team's home arena and practice facility during the month of May, which would feature an image of pending UFA Gordon Hayward and the word "STAYWARD."
Jazz fans, share this like crazy. Let's get this billboard up and convince Hayward to stay in Utah. #TakeNotehttps://t.co/GtrptMTVPo

According to the UtahJazz6Man page, any money raised past the $5,000 threshold will be put towards a cancer research fundraiser Hayward recently shared.
Hayward has spent his entire seven-year career in Utah after being drafted ninth overall by the Jazz in 2010. The 27-year-old is enjoying a career year for the upstart Jazz, averaging 21.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and a steal for fourth-place Utah.
