Watch: LaVar Ball says Lonzo will take Lakers to playoffs next season

The Lonzo (and LaVar) Ball era for the Los Angeles Lakers will soon commence following the UCLA product being drafted second overall by the franchise Thursday night.

LaVar has always felt that a union between his son and his hometown team was inevitable, and is confident that a playoff berth for a franchise that hasn't qualified since 2013 is just around the corner thanks to his boy.

"Lonzo Ball is going to take the Lakers to the playoffs his first year. Come see me when he does. I'll have another hat on that say, 'I told you so,'" LaVar said.
