Lakers superfan uses billboards to recruit LeBron James, takes shot at 76ers
Is the way to LeBron James' heart through snazzy billboards?
Probably not, but that's not stopping one Los Angeles-based attorney from attempting to entice the King to sign with his favorite team this summer.
Jacob Emrani purchased four billboards - two of which went up in L.A. on Wednesday - in an attempt to recruit the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player to the Lakers, according to ESPN Radio's Steve Mason.
The two billboards prominently feature the hashtag #LABron, while also taking shots at both the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

"One of [the billboards] is shooting back at both Philly and Cleveland regarding the fact that they can't compete with L.A.," Emrani, told ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk. "... We don't need a 'process.' In L.A., we win banners, dude.
"Stop spending your money. Philly feels like they can convince him to come and complete a startup. We are not about startups here. They got a startup over there. We got legacy here."
These new billboards, which Emrani says will be up for the remainder of the month, come as a response to Power Home Remodeling, a Philadelphia-based company that bought billboard space in downtown Cleveland, urging James to "Complete the Process" and become a Sixer.
