The Houston Rockets have come to terms with Michael Carter-Williams on a one-year contract at the league-minimum salary, a source told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Carter-Williams' versatility and ability to switch defensively fit right into the Rockets' scheme.
While the career 25 percent 3-point shooter doesn't bring much to the table offensively, he's a reliable backup point guard should Chris Paul or James Harden miss time.
The 2013-14 Rookie of the Year played in 52 games in Charlotte this past season, averaging 4.6 points and 2.2 assists.
