Report: Craig re-signs with Nuggets on 2-year, $4M deal
Torrey Craig will be returning to the Mile High City after agreeing to a two-year, $4-million deal with the Denver Nuggets on Monday, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.
Craig, 27, went undrafted in 2014 and played professionally in Australia and New Zealand for three years before joining the Nuggets last season on a two-way contract.
The sophomore will receive his first fully guaranteed deal in the NBA and will likely see an increased role as a full-time member of the Nuggets after former starting small forward Wilson Chandler was dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Craig appeared in 39 contests for Denver last season, averaging 4.2 points and 3.3 boards in 16.1 minutes.
In 15 contests with the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce, Craig averaged 22.9 points and 8.1 rebounds in 34.9 minutes of action.
