Report: AD would sign with Bucks, Clippers; Celtics don't make list
New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis has told the front office he'd be willing to sign long term with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Those two teams were added to Davis' list on Monday - joining the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks - but the six-time All-Star isn't interested in signing long term with the Boston Celtics, according to Wojnarowski.
The report comes after Davis' father said Friday that he'd "never" want his son to join the Celtics after they showed "no loyalty" by trading away Isaiah Thomas in 2017.
The Bucks have yet to inquire about a deal for Davis, sources told Wojnarowski, who added that such a trade would be extremely difficult to execute due to their roster composition.
Meanwhile, the Pelicans reportedly rejected a recent offer from the Knicks centered around Kristaps Porzingis, who was traded to the Dallas Mavericks last week.
Regardless of the destination, Davis doesn't plan to sign an extension this summer and instead intends to ink a new deal in the 2020 offseason once he opts out of his current contract and becomes an unrestricted free agent, according to Wojnarowski.
Additionally, Davis will have numerous options on the table if he's dealt, as detailed by ESPN's Bobby Marks:
