Report: Wizards sign undrafted Justin Robinson to multi-year deal
The Washington Wizards signed undrafted Virginia Tech point guard Justin Robinson to a multi-year contract, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Robinson quickly developed into the Hokies' floor general, starting 105 games across his four-year collegiate career. He's the school's all-time assists leader and was one of 10 finalists this past season for the Bob Cousy Award, given annually to the nation's top point guard.
However, a foot injury hurt Robinson's draft stock and forced him to miss a good chunk of his senior year. His shooting progressed each season - specifically from downtown - and he'll need to continue on that trajectory at the next level.

What the analysts are saying
- "Robinson is known for his toughness and pass-first mentality. His proven ability to run a team helps set him apart from some of the other hopeful backup guards likely to hit the undrafted market." - Sports Illustrated's Jeremy Woo
- "A shifty ball-handler who operates at different speeds and plays with excellent pace, Robinson embraced his role as his team's floor general and generated good looks for teammates, whipping the ball all over the floor unselfishly with impressive creativity and IQ." - ESPN's Jonathan Givony
