With the No. 28 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors selected Michigan shooting guard Jordan Poole.
Poole averaged 12.8 points, three boards, and 2.2 assists per contest in his first full season as a starter. He played mostly off the ball and proved to be a capable shooter from distance during his two years with the Wolverines, hitting 37 percent of his attempts from downtown.
The 19-year-old did lack some consistency on both ends of the floor. Nonetheless, Poole should provide a boost for any team in need of 3-point shooting.

What the analysts are saying
- "Poole is a shot-maker who can score from all three levels, but hasn't yet shown a ton of inclination on defense or in other aspects of the game." - The Athletic's Sam Vecenie
- "Poole is creative, full of swagger, and just has a natural feel for the game on offense. He's a little bit selfish at times, which is not the worst thing in the NBA game. You need to be able to go out and get your own shot." - ESPN's Jonathan Givony
