Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Jarrett Culver isn't expected to play in summer league as he fully integrates himself into the club's system, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The 20-year-old was selected sixth overall by the Phoenix Suns in this year's draft before being subsequently dealt to Minnesota for the 11th overall pick - Cameron Johnson - and Dario Saric.
Culver helped Texas Tech reach the national championship game during his sophomore season in 2018-19. The shooting guard averaged 18.5 points, 6.4 boards, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest en route to Big 12 Player of the Year honors. He was also a consensus second-team All-American.
