Report: Nurkic switching agents, will sign with Rich Paul
Rich Paul has secured himself a new client.
Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic is switching agencies in order to sign with Paul of Klutch Sports Group, sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Paul already represents some of the biggest stars in the NBA, including LeBron James, Ben Simmons, Anthony Davis, and Draymond Green.
Nurkic was previously represented by Aylton Tesch of Dynasty Sports Management, according to RealGM.
Nurkic is currently out indefinitely after suffering a compound fracture of the tibia and fibula in his left leg in March. The Blazers have not provided an official timetable for his return.
The 25-year-old Bosnian was having the best full season of his career before the injury, averaging a personal best 15.6 points. He also matched his previous career highs of 10.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists, both set in the second half of the 2016-17 season after the Trail Blazers acquired him in a trade from the Denver Nuggets.
