Giannis: 'I don't want my kid to have hate in his heart'

Giannis Antetokounmpo's teammates were alongside the reigning MVP in Milwaukee on Saturday at a peaceful protest over George Floyd's death.

The Greek Freak delivered a passionate speech to those in attendance, calling for an end to racial injustice.

"We want change, we want justice, and that's why we're out here," Antetokounmpo said. "That's what we're going to do today. That's why I'm going to march with you guys.

"I want my kid to grow up here in Milwaukee, and not to be scared to walk in the streets. I don't want my kid to have hate in his heart."

Members of the Milwaukee Bucks, including Antetokounmpo, wore "I can't breathe" T-shirts. They also distributed water to those participating in Saturday's rally.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Toronto Raptors star Kyle Lowry marched with Tobias Harris and Matisse Thybulle of the Philadelphia 76ers in Philadelphia.
