Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is the unanimous winner of the 2020 Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP Award.

James has captured the honor in each of his four championship runs, and he's the first player to be crowned Finals MVP on three different teams.

The award caps off another stellar postseason for James. The Akron, Ohio native surpassed Derek Fisher on Sunday for the most playoff appearances in league history, and he recently overtook John Stockton for second on the NBA's all-time list for postseason assists.

James notched 28 points, 14 boards, and 10 assists during the Lakers' series-clinching Game 6 victory. He averaged 29.8 points on 59.1% shooting in addition to 11.8 boards and 8.5 assists during the championship series.
