Bucks set new NBA single-game record for 3-pointers

The Milwaukee Bucks set a new NBA single-game record for triples during Tuesday's 144-97 blowout win over the Miami Heat.
Sam Merrill's 3-pointer midway through the fourth quarter pushed Milwaukee past the Houston Rockets' previous mark of 27 set in April 2019.
The team's 16 triples during the first 24 minutes of play was a franchise record for a single half.
All-Star guard Jrue Holiday led all Bucks players with six 3-pointers, and the club finished 29-of-51 from deep.
