Kings' Walton brushes off latest shot from Bagley's father
Marvin Bagley III's father again took issue with the Sacramento Kings, this time over his son's usage in Saturday night's 102-94 loss to the Houston Rockets.
After Bagley was glued to head coach Luke Walton's bench for the final 8:37 of the fourth quarter Saturday, Bagley's dad urged the team in a since-deleted tweet to "please trade Marvin Bagley III ASAP!"

Walton brushed off the comment postgame.
"Well, my message is always the same: We don't listen to any of that," Walton said, according to The Sacramento Bee's Jason Anderson.
"It's us within these walls, us within this locker room, and we're in this together. Like I always say, good or bad, whatever people are saying, we've got to do everything we can not to let that affect what we're trying to get done here."
Bagley's dad also questioned his son's usage after he didn't play in the final frame of Tuesday's meeting with the Denver Nuggets despite posting 18 first-half points.
What since does it make to treat Marvin Bagley III this way? No worries, it will surely work out. #TEAMBAGLEY 💪🏾🙏🏾

Additionally, Bagley's father was a vocal opponent of former Kings bench boss Dave Joerger during his son's rookie campaign in 2018-19.
However, Bagley has started all six of the Kings' games this season, and Walton sounds keen to keep the 6-11 big man in the picture.
"We know he has a very bright future. ... He's been great as far as actively learning, actively searching out to become better and get a better understanding of these kinds of things," Walton said.
"There are mistakes happening, for sure, but as long as the player is trying and willing to do the things you're asking, you live with those mistakes with young players. That's the way our league is. The best teacher is always going to be experience, so, the more he goes through things the more he'll pick them up."
