Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was in awe after Stephen Curry's career-high 62-point masterpiece vs. the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.

Curry, 32, became the second-oldest player in NBA history to register a 60 point-game, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

"It's just a privilege to coach him. Not just because of his talent, but the way he carries himself and the way he leads," Kerr said following the Warriors' 137-122 win, according to USA Today's Mark Medina. "We're incredibly blessed as an organization to have Steph leading the way."

Curry came out firing with 21 points in the opening frame and capped the night with 17 points in the fourth quarter, including a ridiculous triple during the final minute of play.

Curry is the first NBA player to crack the 50-point mark this season.

The six-time All-Star joins Wilt Chamberlain, Rick Bary, Joe Fulks, and backcourt teammate Klay Thompson as the only Warriors to score 60 points in a game, according to Warriors PR.

Curry shot 8-of-16 from downtown and 18-of-31 from the field overall. The six-time All-NBA selection set a new personal best in both free-throws made (18) and attempted (19). He also added five boards and four assists.
