Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant is facing a one-week quarantine after being exposed to an individual who tested positive for COVID-19, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
He'd miss the Nets' next four games.
Earlier Monday, Brooklyn ruled out Durant for Tuesday's meeting with the Utah Jazz due to health and safety protocols.
That designation is being used for players who are in quarantine and undergoing contact tracing. It doesn't necessarily mean an individual has tested positive for COVID-19.
Durant contracted the virus last March.
The two-time Finals MVP is averaging 28.2 points, seven boards, and 4.8 assists over six appearances this season.
