Report: Wizards waiving former lottery pick Jerome Robinson
The Washington Wizards are waiving guard Jerome Robinson, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Robinson has struggled to find his footing in the NBA since the Los Angeles Clippers drafted him out of Boston College with the 13th pick in 2018.
In three seasons split between Los Angeles and Washington, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard averaged 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in just over 14 minutes per appearance. This year, Robinson has shot just 29.5% from the floor overall, including 26.2% on 2.5 threes per game.
The Wizards are expected to fill Robinson's vacated roster spot by signing big man Jordan Bell to a second 10-day contract, Wojnarowski reports. Bell previously played for Washington earlier this season, tallying 3.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 16.7 minutes per game across three outings.
