Jordan will present Kobe at 2020 Hall of Fame induction ceremony
Michael Jordan will present Kobe Bryant for induction into the Naismith Hall of Fame as part of the 2020 class on May 15.
Bryant, who enjoyed an illustrious 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers, died in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26, 2020, in Calabasas, California. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others also died in the accident.
The five-time NBA champion will be one of nine inducted as part of the 2020 class.
The Naismith Hall of Fame announced on Thursday the list of presenters for the enshrinement ceremony at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
David Robinson will be in attendance to present former San Antonio Spurs frontcourt mate Tim Duncan, while ex-Detroit Pistons guard Isiah Thomas will enshrine Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett.
Celebrated college coaches Kim Mulkey, Barbara Stevens, and Eddie Sutton will also be honored alongside former Houston Rockets player and coach Rudy Tomjanovic, ex-WNBA and Tennessee star Tamika Catchings, and longtime FIBA executive Patrick Baumann.
