Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley has been cleared for basketball activities, the team announced Thursday.
The former No. 2 overall pick will attempt to return sometime next week, a source told The Athletic's Sam Amick.
Bagley hasn't played since suffering a left-hand fracture on Mar. 15. The oft-injured big man has been limited to 112 appearances over three NBA seasons.
The 22-year-old is averaging 13.9 points and 7.4 boards across 37 games this season, but he's been a defensive liability for the Kings. Sacramento is allowing 3.4 points less per 100 possessions when Bagley isn't on the floor.
