Denver Nuggets associate head coach Wes Unseld had a second interview for the Orlando Magic's head coaching vacancy, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania and Josh Robbins.
Unseld has spent the past 16 years as an NBA assistant, including three with the Magic.
The 45-year-old just finished his sixth season on Michael Malone's staff, with which his primary responsibilities included the team's defense.
Orlando finished 26th in defensive efficiency during the 2020-21 campaign.
Unseld also oversaw the development of stars Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter. He's been linked to numerous coaching jobs over the past few offseasons.
The Magic parted ways with Steve Clifford in early June after three campaigns.
