Report: Cavs' Hartenstein declines $1.8M player option

Cleveland Cavaliers center Isaiah Hartenstein declined his $1.8-million player option for next season, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Hartenstein performed well down the stretch, averaging 8.3 points, six boards, and 1.2 blocks in 17.9 minutes per game over 16 appearances last campaign with the Cavs.
Cleveland acquired the 7-footer from the Denver Nuggets just before the trade deadline.
Houston selected Hartenstein 43rd overall in the 2017 NBA Draft. The 23-year-old's had a limited role since entering the Association, but he won G League Finals MVP honors just two years ago.
